Austin Condos are Selling!

It’s a sign of the times that Austin condos are selling more slowly than they have in the past. But unlike other real estate markets, newly constructed Austin condos ARE selling. Spring a downtown Austin condo, is about 60% sold. And Barton Place, an East side condo development, is approaching 50% sold.

SoCo

The hip neighborhood of South Congress in Austin known as SoCo was only a few years ago a seedy enclave of slumping businesses and hourly motels. The motels are restored, and have new glamour which suits the views of downtown Austin and the unique group of restaurants, clubs, and shops which still give a feeling of SoCo’s “hippie” origins.
